Dinero MCP Server (Beta)

Official beta MCP server for reading and managing accounting data in Dinero.

About

Dinero MCP Server is an official hosted integration operated by Visma Dinero ApS. After Visma Connect login and explicit authorization, MCP-compatible clients can access the Dinero organizations available to the user, subject to the user's existing permissions. It exposes accounting lookups, reports, document handling and write actions such as creating and posting invoices, purchases and journal entries, while storing no session data between calls.

Actionable Use Cases

  • 01Create and post customer invoices from an MCP-compatible AI client
  • 02Book purchase receipts and upload supporting documents to the archive
  • 03Search contacts, products, invoices and chart-of-accounts entries
  • 04Retrieve trial balances, account specifications and unpaid invoice reports
  • 05Register payments and create credit notes or journal entries

Technical Details & Limits

Requires a Dinero Pro subscription, user login through Visma Connect and explicit OAuth authorization; MitID is not used. Connections can be reviewed and revoked through the MCP client or the user's Visma Connect settings. The service is a beta without uptime or service-level guarantees, and users must review AI-generated accounting changes and remain responsible for bookkeeping accuracy, backups and GDPR compliance with connected AI providers. Dinero enforces public API limits of 100 requests per minute per organization for ISV clients and 60 per minute per client for personal integrations, but the MCP documentation does not specify which quota applies to this server.
