Not open access — requires Sundhedsdatastyrelsen certification of the integrating system plus a separate NSP/Sundhedsdatanet network agreement. Contains sensitive health data on real patients; any agent access must be certified, supervised, and GDPR-compliant. Individual citizens can view their own FMK data via sundhed.dk with MitID, but that is a browser flow, not an API.
About
FMK is Sundhedsdatastyrelsen's national IT solution giving a shared, up-to-date view of a citizen's current medication across GPs, hospitals, and pharmacies. Local clinical/journal systems integrate via webservices over Sundhedsdatanet, reached through the National Service Platform (NSP). Citizens can also view their own medication via sundhed.dk / FMK-online. There is no public, self-serve developer API — every integrating system must be certified by Sundhedsdatastyrelsen and separately agreed for NSP/Sundhedsdatanet access.
