Erhvervsstyrelsen (the Danish Business Authority) exposes newly published and historical company annual reports via an Elasticsearch/JSON-based search index (the "cvr-permanent" offentliggørelser index), refreshed roughly every 10 minutes. Reports have been filed in inline-XBRL since January 2025. Access requires a free username/password issued by Erhvervsstyrelsen rather than an open API key.

Notes
Free registration required (username/password from Erhvervsstyrelsen) — not an anonymous API key. Distinct from the general CVR lookup API (cvr-api-virk) — this endpoint is specifically for filed annual reports/financial statements. Do not confuse with third-party paid wrappers like docs.cvr.dev, which cache this data behind their own subscription.
