## About

Danmarks Miljøportal (DMP) is the joint public portal for Danish environmental and nature data, maintained in partnership between the state (Miljøministeriet), regions (Danske Regioner), and municipalities (KL). It aggregates over 1,000 datasets and tens of millions of observation records across 30 systems, offering WMS/WFS map services and REST/SOAP web services for biodiversity, water quality, protected zones, and soil contamination.

## Agent use cases

- Query protected nature areas, Natura 2000 zones, and conservation boundaries via WFS
- Fetch water environment observations, groundwater levels, and bathing water measurements
- Access species occurrence records and biodiversity observations across Danish habitats

## Notes

Most spatial and observation datasets are publicly accessible via WMS/WFS and open download. Certain write and administrative services require user credentials or municipality agreements.
